12C Cleaning cloths on counters, equipment , etc- keep cleaning cloths in sanitizer between uses to prevent bacterial contamination. New Violation
15C Gaskets have an accumulation of fried food, water, mold/mildew - clean gaskets thoroughly and frequently to avoid contamination and insect/rodent attraction. Repeat Violation
16C Septic system failing- water on ground- repair permit being applied for by owner.New Violation
17B Grease container dripping onto ground- pressure wash or exchange grease container. Repeat Violation
17C Cove molding missing or no longer attached throughout most kitchen - repair ASAP to provide a smooth, durable , easily cleanable surface. Repeat Violation
17C Ceiling tiles and vents with accumulation of dist/grease - clean surfaces to prevent grease/dust contamination of foods. New Violation

The effective date of the new Food Service Rules and Regulations is February 15, 2006. Establishments permitted after February 15, 2006 will have 90 days to obtain certification for a food service manager. Enforcement of all other requirements begins on November 15, 2006.

The Hall County Environmental Health Department will be offering ServSafe classes on April 5th and 6th, 2006 (2-day attendance). Please call for more information and to register at (770) 531-3973. There is a limit of 40 persons. Future classes will be announced at a later date.
