Inpection Notes
2-2D hand sink blocked with boxes- keep hand sinks clear at all times to encourage required employee hand washing, new violation 4-2B ice machine baffle has mold/mildew- wash/rinse/sanitize food contact surfaces- clean/sanitize all interior surfaces of ice maker, new violation 15A cooler gaskets heavily damaged- replace gaskets immediately to provide a smooth, durable, easily cleanable surface, new violation 15C gaskets on coolers have a large accumulation of food, water, mold, mildew- clean gaskets thoroughly and frequently to prevent insect/rodent attraction and contamination, new violaiton 17C floors in storage area, especially under shelving and equipment need better cleaning- clean floors all the way to the floor/wall juncture to prevent contamination and insect/rodent attraction, new violation

The effective date of the new Food Service Rules and Regulations is February 15, 2006. Establishments permitted after February 15, 2006 will have 90 days to obtain certification for a food service manager. Enforcement of all other requirements begins on November 15, 2006.

The Hall County Environmental Health Department will be offering ServSafe classes on April 5th and 6th, 2006 (2-day attendance). Please call for more information and to register at (770) 531-3973. There is a limit of 40 persons. Future classes will be announced at a later date.
