Recent Articles by Jim ThrelkeldThe following are the words of the second president of the United States, John Adams: “If we look into history, we shall find some nations rising from the contemptible beginnings and spreading their influence until the whole globe is subjected to their ways. The Stimulus Bill was not about stimulating the economy. The Health Care Bill is not about your health. The soon-to-become a Climate Change Bill, more known as Cap and Trade, is not about the climate. These charades of bills are about taking your freedoms and grasping control of your lives. My dear Americans, you voted for change and you are getting it. In fact, it is occurring at such a rapid pace you do not totally understand the consequences of these changes. When I learned that President Obama had won the Nobel Peace Prize, it reminded me of an excerpt from the book I recently wrote called, “Where Roses Have No Thorns”. As an old soldier I have the right to be furious at the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States, President Barrack Hussein Obama. As a society, in the past, where have we placed our hope? It is obvious the President needs to divert some of the problems that have led to his drastic drop in the polls. So, he has done so by sicing Attorney General Holder on the CIA interrogators for protecting us against terrorists by using water boarding or some other tactic that saved our lives. It seems President Obama’s latest attempt to convince the confused public to buy into his socialist health plan is to invoke the teaching of Jesus to make us all feel bad because we are such sinners for not wanting to continue Obama’s welfare state and his attempt to take complete control of our lives. It seems the national security folks are beginning to get worried about the poor attitude of Americans. They feel white racists and white militant groups are growing by leaps and bounds. It has not gone unnoticed by me that for some obscure reason the media and Hollywood folks seem to always fall in love with leaders who control people in the most disgusting ways. Way back in 1967 I graduated from the University of Georgia. A few days after graduation, I was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. Republicans are supposed to stay on the reservation with their pants in an upright position. That’s just the way we conservatives believe. For the past several weeks I have felt numb. Numb from writing anything about Obama as it seems a new crisis is created by him every day. For the past couple of weeks my wife and I have been traveling in Arkansas mainly because I wrote a book that had as its setting in Arkansas. For many true believers, the belief of God being in control has been their reasoning for sitting back and doing nothing. I am proudly a Right Wing Extremist Terrorist based on the President and the Director of Homeland Security’s definition of what a Right Wing Extremist Terrorist really is. Before I start this column, I suggest you read my column I titled, “My Theory about Government Control” which appeared on February 24, 2009. When Senator Obama was elected President of the United States, he promised change. Since I care about my fellow man, I want to tell you how I received 1.5 trillion dollars from my senator for my part of the stimulus money. This is my theory: If a government can cause a crisis in which only the government can solve, that government has an excellent chance to gain control of its society. Previous |1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | Next |
