ELLIJAY - A 14 year old Elijay boy, missing for over 12 hours, was found safe Wednesday night; but now he could face charges. According to the Gilmer County Sheriff's Department, thousands of dollars were spent in searching for Josh Chastain. The sheriff in Gilmer County says that within the next few days, Chastain will face a runaway charge in juvenile court.
Police in Elijay began searching for the teen early Wednesday morning. Investigators called in K-9 units and Georgia State Patrol helicopters to aid in the search.
