Tech coach won't have 'fries' with that
By The Associated Press
ATLANTA -- Georgia Tech usually wears white jerseys at home. The Yellow Jackets will have to call a fashion audible for Saturday's game against Wake Forest.
Most teams wear dark jerseys for home games, and ACC rules require the visiting team to go along with any change in that protocol. The Demon Deacons are the first opponent this season at Bobby Dodd Stadium to object, so Georgia Tech will have to make a decision. Blue tops? Or gold?
Coach Paul Johnson says he'll let the players decide, but one thing the Yellow Jackets won't be wearing is gold jerseys and gold pants. Johnson says he doesn't want his team looking like ``giant french fries.''
